'How Dare you!'
An Eco-political art project.
Llanover Hall Arts Centre, Cardiff
November 2019 - February 2020
As part of my second year of studying the Creative and Therapeutic arts degree, I facilitated creative sessions at Llanover Hall. In this project I worked with 7 children aged between 7-11 years in an extra-curricula environment. The project was aimed at developing social and emotional understanding through creative story telling.
The project was participant-centred promoting 'choice' and 'voice' for encouraging self motivation and stimulating intrinsic motivation. The goal of the project was developed through the early stages, exploring the children's social understanding.
The outcome of this project was a large wall display depicting the children's concern for the current issues on plastic pollution and the climate crisis.
